6 months Oreo the frenchy

Hey its me the cutest frenchie life is grand!!! I have been having a hard time in the heat not just because i'm black but because i'm a french bulldog and we don't deal with heat very well.

The good thing is I live by a beach and wow its great!!My brother Olli he's a Border terrier and wow he can swim really well and he gets to fetch sticks out in the water.Well i'm supposed to be a sinker not a swimmer that doesn't mean i can't enjoy the water.Our dogmom got us a duck pond and we've been playing on our deck with lots of rubber toys and man have we had a blast!!

We also got a camper crate and I think that means we might be going on a trip.

I got a new leash that is hot pink and I don't mind saying it looks bitchin!!

So my big news is yesterday while we were left alone in the bedroom i found lots of stuff to play with.I found a little purse that had some money in it and i seperated the coins from the paper well the smell on this money was weird but I had a blast,then i found some books on a shelf and well I just had to chew on the corners mom said that gave new meaning to a dog eared read!!!!

then I found a laundry hamper with sweaty clothes i couldn't resist draging out all the stuff and rolling in the clothes !!!!

My dogdad was not so happy when he came home and found all the stuff I'd played with while he was gone.My dogmom was gone for what seemed a long time and she just laughed when she came home and checked out the stuff I'd played with!!!She brought us new toys and a raw hide that is bigger than I am.

I suppose this means I'll be getting more of those lessons you know the ones that will help me in the future!!

5months Oreo the frenchy

Its been 5 months since i've been adopted and as you know its been full of new things and some surprises.I'm a girl who wants to be in charge and well quite frankly its not going my way.Olli my brother well he has been here a long time he's just not the pushover i was hoping he'd be.I mean he is a Border terrier and so he's a bit obsessive compulsive as terriers will be so I thought he'd let some things slide well not so.I want to sit in the chair of my choice not the one with the special blanket and this waiting to be invited stuff a waste of my time if anyones asking.

Ok i'm a little on the clumsy side as i run too fast and sometimes don't see where i'm headed and often end up banging my head on some piece of furniture!!!My tongue still hangs out when I'm tired and so i don't look very smart and i have been known to sleep through a pedicure or two.

I also see no need to chew every pice of food when just sucking it down my throat fills my belly just the same.I have learned to drink out of a straw on these juice packs my dogmom drinks and man cherry kool aid is my fave!!!!!!My brother and I have learned to sing in harmony well we think we sound great but the humans always ask us to keep it down.The other animals who share our yard leave great stuff behind but do you think they'll let me eat any of it noooo.

So i'm now 10 months old and am being asked to do so many things like STAY and SIT well whats the point in that.

wow a whole month has gone by and in dog time thats half a year!!Ok I've graduated from beginner puppy class and well no exactly with honours but we did get a diploma!!!!

I have also now been in my new home longer than where I was born.I really have things going my way my dogmom is a softie and can be so easily manipulated she shares her food and lets me sit with her whenever I feel like it.I have had to stick to some rules like sleeping in my crate its warm and soft but not like the big bed!!I have naps in the big bed and i've said before down is the warmest comfiest place to snuggle into.I'm also off the puppy food and onto way better meals.

My brother Olli and I get what ever is left over and this time of year grilled chicken is in abundance the salad well without the dressing on it it tastes like rabbit food! We spend a lot of time in our outside room and wow the smells are great,like the neighbour got chickens and they smell good but the dog nextdoor told us what happened to her when she played with the chicken!!!First it was fun and squeeked a lot then she got in big trouble when the chick stopped chirping!!!I had an encounter with a green hoppy thing the other day it tasted odd when I liked it and the poof it jumped away!!We have been able to sleep in the sunshine and man it feels good on my fur.

We walk to a place with lots of water but yuk if you drink it its way too salty and as I'm a sinker not a swimmer i just run along the edge and bark at Olli who can swim really good.There is nice smelly things to roll on at the water place and some poop that me and Olli think is great but the otter poop bothers my dogdad and dogmom and then we get a bath as soon as we come home!!

AS I'm a big girl now i get to watch tv in the dog chair its got a nice blankie and I can watch that dog training guy.Man he is good he must have good treatsok time to go out and leave mother nature a biodegradable gift talk to you soon.

Hey doggies its me Oreo and man have I been busy.I'm just finished the 5th puppy class and I admit I'm the smartest puppy there!Well the boxer pup seems to be doing sits and stays real well and the american cocker puppies are also very smart.I have to learn a trick by next tuesday and I'm thinking high 5 or rollover is where i'm headed.

My dogdad has been taking me to clas as my dogmom has had bad arthritus that means working harder she is a marshmellow.Hey I saw a cat running through the garden and man I could have caught her but then a bird flew by and well I just didn't know who to run after first so I had a poop instead.

Lots of work in the garden these days and I got to ride in the wheel barrow that was fun.My brother Olli the terrier has been playing catch me if you can and wow we sure can run fast upstairs.He takes my favorite toy and away we go.I can run fast but the stopping part sometimes is a hard landing.

The other big change is no more lunch bummer as I do love to eat.My dinners are getting better and the bowl seems to have more goodies in it.

wow has time ever flown by!I've been in my new home 3 months now and its been great.I'm taking a puppy class and of course I'm the cutest puppy there.I'm having to learn all kinds of new things like sit and wait for my dinner my terrier brother has to wait too.Last week we had to stay home while our dogmom and dogdad went out for the day.OK i was a little bored so I rearranged the paper recycle bin getting all that paper out was easy but then I forgot to put it back.When they came home I was in trouble and i'm not sure how they figured out it was me.

Sometimes I just don't fell like doing my lessons thats part of being a bulldog.

I'm finding nice places to sleep other than in front of the fire place where its really warm and cozy.

I've also been going on car trips which is really cool cause I never know where i'll end up and I love an adventure.My brother likes to play a chasing game where he takes my toys and runs around the house and I have to chase him to get back my toys.Sometimes I humor him and run really fast and some times I just take his toy and try and get his attention.

We also have a nice room outside and right now these little birds that hum when they fly are here and man they are cool to watch.I like to bark at the bigger birds but they don't care.

When I bark too much my dogmom sprays me with water and I stop barking I think thats the idea.

It will be a busy week we must be going some where because the bag with our stuff is getting filled with our food and leashes.I hope we go to the city the ladies there feed me all kinds of good snacks and we see lots of other dogs and animals.

woff hi all its me the little black french bulldog.I've just returned from the city of vancouver and I had a really good time.My dogmom has lots of friends there i like to meet them they all think i'm cute (so do I).My dogOma is the best she lets me try all the food she eats and i can sleep anywhere I want.There is a small problem with going into the city and that is the CAT.There is one at dogOmas house and he is miserable hisses at me and waits for me to walk under the chair and the swats my ears with sharp claws. Oh oh you know what else I do I go to a park where there are squirrels and they run all around me.I like the quacking birds in the pond they swim pretty good and well I'm a sinker not a swimmer!

There are lots of smells in the city and different food smells.i went for a visit to a ladys house with dogOma and she had her fur washed and curled.There were two little girls there who put clothes on me and took me out in doll buggy.Everyone was laughing and saying how cute i looked but i was dressed like a small human whats cute about that?

ok back to the food in the city it tastes different from what I get at home and gives me gas.I mean it feels good to let out the gas but everyone moves away when I do. I missed my brother Olli and he sure missed me cause he growled as soon as I came in the door.

My dogdad was happy to see me and home is the place to be all my toys are still here and my favorite place to pee has been mowed theres no place like home.

Hi there its me Oreo and I have been so busy.I'm learning all kinds if things like sometimes I eat something outside that smells great but it sure makes me sick later.I have my own little crate with warm blanket and most nights thats where I sleep.When my dogdad is away my dogmom lets me sleep in her big bed.As I've mentioned before its soo warm and cozy and smells nice!!!

I'm getting ready for puppy class and thats lots of sit and stay well I'm not great at the stay part but I'm getting the sit and down and the best part is the treats.Who knew people food could taste so fantastic!!!!

I'm also going for car rides and what a great way to get to some new smelling place! I've recently become acquainted with a pair of ducks they are nesting beside the stream where we go for a walk.Nice enough birds they walk funny and always fly off just as I get close enough for a good whiff.My brother goes nuts because he's a terrier and I think he could hunt these birds and i'll bet we could eat them.

We have been walking on a tandem leash thats where the two of us me and my brother are on one leash and really close together. well problem is the other day we smelled something great and I went in for a good sniff and my brother peed on the good smell well I had my head peed on and our dogmom wasn't happy at all.I smelled bad and got a bath as soon as we came home I don't think this dual leash will work.

hey I know I've been busy and its hard to find time to blog!!I have been having a blast.My dogmom has been keeping an eye on me because there is just so much stuff for me to explore and chew on.I like shoes but they are hard to knaw on.I've also found a bag with wooden balls in it she says its a bocci ball set well call it what you will its a bag of wooden balls and i'm sure if I get it dragged to a secure spot I could get that bag open and play with those balls.

The bag is heavy and hard to drag around without being noticed.

I'm also getting better at jumping so beds are wow nice and soft and warmer than the cushy crate I sleep in.When my dogdad is gone my dogmom lets me sleep with her and I have a nice spot at the end of the bed and i put my big head on her feet so I know she's there.

My teeth and gums are really bugging me so I've got lots of chew things cowhide i think and wow if you really work at it it gets soft and slimey.

I have met a friend who comes over and he has work boots that smell wonderful and the laces are long and great to pull on.

I am doing better on my leash but this stay put business while my food sits in front of me thats not great don't they know how hungry I am?Food is for eating not looking at.

Oh car rides wow i can jump in to the back of the car by myself and i never know where I'm going to end up.Its just a big adventure and I am loving it.

hi there its me Oreo and i have been busy so i've not been keeping up with my blog.I've had a runny nose after I ate something that made me really sick.My mom was up with me most of the night and gave me water and some soda crackers to make me feel better.By morning we were tired but I was feeling better.My dad is a stickler for following rules and even though I know

what he wants me to do I sometimes ignore what he tells me.I am after all a bulldog and i like being stubborn.I am getting to know my neighborhood and as much as I love to eat the deer poop my mom keeps a pretty close eye on what I get into.

I have been signed up for a puppy class and will be leaning the basics! I'm not sure what the basics are but my mom will make it fun for me.

My brother Olli has been nicer to me and even plays with me sometimes he still growls when I stick my face into his food dish He gets more food than I do so my dish is empty before his.

My mom watches tv in her big bed and if I'm good she lets me lay next to her and I always fall asleep.Its warm and cozy and I hardly notice when she puts me into my crate to sleep.

One month in my new home and things are going very well.I've recovered from my leg surgery and had the stiches out.I'm running around and doing everything a healthy puppy does.

I have a great spot by the kitchen door that I can look outside and see the birds at the feeder and I've got a great view into the back yard.There is a guy out there today with a noisy machine a weed eater although It looks like the guy is playing with a stick.

My brother Olli is still growling at me when I stick my face in his bowl but he will let me play with him sometimes.I'm finding some nice places in the house to sleep.

my favorite spot is in front of the fireplace its warm and really cozy.

I'm going on long walks in the afternoon and there is so much to smell and see its awsome!!!

I'm still kind of clumsey and had a tumble off a chair outside.I was trying to peek over the railing and before I knew it boom I was laying on the deck.

I am signed up for a puppy class and wow I sure am looking foreward to that.

My mom gives me these great snacks to chew on and they take awhile for me to finish but it keeps me busy.

I must be a lucky puppy!I am having such a great time in my new digs.I've got a nice garden and lots of things to smell and taste.Yesterday I found these pellets in the garden and wow what a smell and weird taste.my mom said NO she says that a lot.I haven't seen a deer yet but the pellets they leave behind sure make a tastey snack!

My brother follows his nose and boy he sure can sniff out some neat stuff.Mostly he tracks the cat next door who has a spot in the garden where we find bird feathers and left over animal stuff.

I'm doing very well in the car and the leash thing is working for me.

I am also in the habit of watching tv in the big bed Mom says I snore and if farting was an olympic sport I'd be on the podium.

I do end up in my crate which is warm and cozy thats so I don't walk around in the dark.

I'm a fast eater and when i'm done I head straight to Ollis bowl boy he sure gets grouchy when I stick my face into his bowl.

Sometimes things don't go my way and mom has to point me in the right direction.

All in all I'm a lucky girl.

hi its me Oreo and I went to the vet this morning and had my stiches taken out.As you already know I've had kind of a rough start in my new family.The good news is my leg has healed and the pins and wire have held my injured knee in place.I'm also learning lots of new things.I'm not so good at stay but I can sit and down easy stuff and I get treats and lots of good girl pets.

My new brother is still not so keen on my being here but I sure like him a lot.

I have noticed that when we're outside he lifts his leg

Boy I never knew dog time went by so fast.I have been on the go and went into the Olympic city for a few days.There were people everywhere and they all want to touch me.I'm not so keen on that.My Oma(grandma)is really nice and I like here place but the elevator up 18 floors is not my fave thing to do! She live right by a park with squirrels and boy I bet I could catch one of those if they let me run.I went to a coffee house and it was nice to cuddle under my moms jacket.

The cat that lives at Omas house is pretty grouchy and hisses and has really sharp claws.

They put me into a crate and went out so I escaped from the crate but it was dark and I don't like the dark.I found a safe place away from the cat under the bed.My mom was a little upset when they came home and I was not where I was supposed to be.

Learning all this new stuff is hard and I hear NO a lot!!!

I'm getting my stiches out in a few days and my leg is as good as new you'd never know I fell off the coffee table!!!

Time flies when you're in a new home and with so much to learn.My mom says I'm a smart girl and boy I like to hear that.Olli my brother is still being grouchy and growls at me when I want to see what he got to eat.I know we'll learn to play with each other I am cute as a button and I don't know why he can't see that.He is a terrier may be he has better smelling skills than seeing?

I'm liking my new neighborhood the birds are everywhere and last night I could smell that racoon I just couldn't get at him and my mom wouldn't let me off the deck!

I'm off to the big city for another adventure and this time no jumping.

My leg with the stiches feels better but man sometimes it gets itchy and dry.

I'll get my stiches out in a week and my last shots .I'll be happy then not to see the vet for awhile.

I'm off for a walk and that thing around my belly a harness its called well it is just holding me in place right now wait untill I can go on my own.

my mom is talking about puppy class wow with other puppies yahoo I can hardly wait.

Hey i've made it I've been in my new home for 14 days and I am getting the hang of it!The potty part is really going well I sit at the kitchen door someone takes me outside I do my thing and when we come in the doorI sit.Simple and I get a treat.Yahoo.The food here is also an upgrade and no other pups nuzzling into the dish.

My brothers back from the city and well he's still growling a lot and man for a 4 year old he's slow.I've tried running around with his toys but he doesn't like that.Every now and again he'll pick up a toy and I can chase him around for awhile.

Life is good

Another great day in my new life.My leg is much better and I'm able to walk on all four wow I'm exploring new places.I do like my new garden and with this nice weather I'm outside a lot.

We still take these short walks to go potty but we're going further when we just go for a walk.

My harness is not so bad and lots of people just want to touch me.I'm quite happy to just sit in my moms lap while she is watching the Olympics its warm and I feel so safe.

My brother will be back tonight and I'm really looking foreward to us running through the house together.We were outside checking out some things in the garden and I like the dirt but my mom doesn't like me to eat stuff out there.

I do like to bark at who ever comes by they don't seem very scared of my barking.When I'm full grown maybe.

my mom seems to understand when I really need to go out and today I peed on the carpet i just couldn't wait she really didn't make a fuss.Mostly I just go and sit in front of the door and she takes me out.

She has been busy on her computer and thats ok I just sit under her chair and sleep.

When she calls me I come running and sit in front of her and then she tells me i'm a good girl and get a treat thats an easy way to get a cookie.She gives me these hard little rolls of dried meat and I find a good spot to chew on them and it makes my teeth feel better.

Most of all I like that she rubs my belly and gives me lots of love.

You know I think I got lucky with my new home and parents this is a real win win for me.

Oh it looks like we're going out she's putting her shoes on and her jacket that means another adventure and i'm always ready for that.My mom can tell when I'm nervous and if a big dog comes our way she picks me up and makes me feel safe.

I might be small but I think I can hold my own.

Greetings puppies and other recently adopted pets.I have been so lucky despite my recent leg operation the new house and new parents are working out !I have warm beds all over so wherever i end up pooped from running around I can have a comfy nap.

I must say not having to fight off other pups for food is soooo nice and I have my own bowl.

Then upstairs is a big bathroom my new mom loves the tub and the floor is heated so I just lay on her towel and ohhh nice.

My new yard has trees full of birds and did I mention the new smells wow.The bird his name is Charlie he actually comes from down under I think that odd because he is up on a table out of dogs reach.I think thats because my new brother Olli is a border terrier and they love to hunt.

I on the other hand am a french bulldog and i love to look good.I know I do because my reflection in the mirror is getting prettier everyday.

OK its time for my afternoon trip outside sometimes we take long walks and sometimes its those short potty breaks.

I am the luckiest little pup.

Wow its been a few busy days in my life. I had a big operation a few days ago to fix my leg well my knee and then I had my tubes tied.I'm not sure why but I also ended up with a chip in my neck and when they wave a wand over it I beep.

I spent a night at the animal hospital but the doc and the nurses were very kind to me.I was really sleepy and just when things were starting to be confusing to me my new parents showed up.

My dad sure makes me feel safe and he gives great back scratches.

Now that my leg is feeling better I'm able to explore my new house and boy is it great.

There is a big bed and when my mom lifts me up onto it I'm in heaven.I never knew hungarian down could be so warm and comfortable.

I do like to watch tv and there was a fancy dog show on the cream of the crop is what I heard and surprise a dog who looked just like me won in the non sporting (thats code for couch potatoes)

The sun is shining and that means there are lots of places to sit and have a nap where its warm.

So far this new place is working out just fine for me and i'm looking foreward to my brother Olli to come back home and join me.

He's at the relitives spa thats where you sleep on beds and eat people food.

I'm a happy girl and it looks like i'll get some more exploring done as part of my rehabilitation and the smells out there well I'm not sure what it all is but i'll get it sooner or later.

Well its my big surgery day.I had my morning walk and then what a rip no breakfast.

I'm going to the vet this afternoon and then he'll fix my leg which really isn't slowing me down much!

Then i'll have my girlie bits removed I have no idea how sore i'm going to be and none of that matters right now I'm just HUNGRY.

So my mom will keep you up to date on my progress.

wow I've had some busy days for a puppy.I was at a new place Oma's house its and apartment with a big unfriendly cat! So I was learning to jump and I had a fall ouch.I really hurt my hind leg and it hurt to walk on it.I'm doing great on 3 legs but I could tell my new mom was worried.

I went back on the ferry and saw that nice new vet of mine.

I've broken my knee and will have to have a big operation on my leg.While I'm asleep I'll have my tubes tied no puppies in my future! my mom says its to keep the neighborhood bad boys away!!

My brother Olli stayed in the big city so its just me and the folks here today and the sun is out and I've sen a hummingbird the noise is really neat.

I got to sleep where my mom and dad sleep and was it ever nice and warm and so fluffy and I snored a lot.

It sure is nice to have all the toys to myself I'm sure my brother will know I've been knawing on his stuff.

I'm practising my bark and so far no one is scared except the bird that was outside the window.

I sure like looking at myself in the mirror and I can play and that reflection does just what I do.

oh I have to go dads got my hot pink harness in his hand that means we're going outside these two are still big on those short walks and if I go potty I get a treat!

These two are so easy to train.

well wish me luck with my big operation I'll still be a cute frenchy when I come home in a few days!

Wow another night in my new bed.I'm so hungry by the time I wake up and I try and wake someone so I can eat.

First we go out for another walk I do have a nice yard to do my thing and then I get a nice breakfast.

I like to run around the house and wow I'm really getting good on those stairs.

There are lots of nice toys for me to chew on and my new brother likes for me to chase him.

There is even a warm spot in front of the fire place for me to have a nice nap.

I guess i'm going to have another bath today as i'm off to gramas house!

I've never been to a big city yet and i guess i should be excited and i'm going to see the olympic torch run bye wow what a lucky puppy i am!!!!!!!

Wow did I ever luck out this new place is great.I have my own food dish and Olli the terrier has his own too.I get to use mine more but his smells better.

I went to a vets office and well I was so tired I slept through the whole thing.

I got a shot but man the treats that DR.Dave had were great and I didn't mind that he looked in my eyes and ears.Then my new brother had his turn and he really liked the treats too.

This time i felt better in the car and there were no accidents.

I'm still getting to go outside a lot and every time I find something to play with someone is calling me and taking it away.

My new brother wants me to chase him and he's got some great toys.

I'm going on a road trip tomorrow its a car, ferries,kind of trip.

I'm going to the Olympics but I doubt I'll have much to do with the athletes.

My second day was a little more laid back good food and wow we went outside a lot!

What a great yard there are smells from animals I've never sniffed before and guess what there are other dogs next door in all directions.

I sure like my new home but that terrier Olli he growls a lot.

I had a big climb up these stairs phew it was rough going one at a time but after a couple of tries I was doing well.

I even saw a puppy who looks just like me on a door in the bedroom then I saw my new mom on the same door she was not as surprised at our reflection as I was.

I go outside and go to the potty and then I get a treat when i come back inside this is going to be great.

I had my ears cleaned and boy these two are big on short walks out side and I already knew I was a "GOOD GIRL"but I like hearing it!

I was a happy girl when I went back into that nice bed I didn't need to cry!

my first day was kind of traumatic.I left my family and went home with a new mom and dad.

I went into a nice clean kennel with a warm blanket and a new toy.

Then I started to move around and I'm afraid I had an accident just then I felt a breeze and heard coughing.

I'm a french bulldog and i'm 17 weeks old.A lot of people came and looked at me before my new mom and dad took me home.

Now back to the trip to my new home.

My new parents were nice enough to stop and clean out my crate with fresh bedding and wet wipes.How did they know they would need these things for such a short trip?

I arrived at my new house and wow there was a dog there waiting for us!

His name is Olli and he seemed really glad to see me maybe he was in on the secret.I was not feeling really well by then I had been sick quite a bit.

Wow what a place there was lots of smells and noises I had never in my short life herd or sniffed.

Then a bad thing happened they said" bath time "then i was in lots of water up to my belly.Dad held me tight so I sort of felt safe.

Then i was wet all over and some nice smelling stuff was being rubbed all over me.

I got wrapped up in a nice warm fluffy towel and lights out I fell asleep.

I fell asleep with a full belly and a nice fluffy bed to sleep in.
